Service Description

Performed when Brahmin bhojan (feeding priests) is not possible and the Shraadha is fulfilled through a monetary offering (dakshina or hiranya) in place of a meal. The pandit conducts the complete Shraadha vidhi — tarpan, Vedic mantras for the ancestors, and the formal offering of dakshina — so the ritual obligation to the departed is fulfilled with full scriptural validity. This form is widely chosen by families living away from their ancestral home or when time or circumstances do not permit the full bhojan arrangement. Duration is 1 hour, conducted in-person.
