Bhawuka amavasya Shani Jayanti Bhavuka Amavasya – Bhavuka Amavasya is observed on the no moon day or Amavas day in the Jyeshta month as per traditional Hindu calendar followed in North India. Bhavuka Amavasya 2020 date is May 33. The corresponding Amavasya in western and southern parts of India is theVaishakhAmavasya. The day is chosen for performing Shradh, Pinda Dan and Tarpan. Vat Savitri Amavasya Vrat, Bargadahi Amavasya and Shani Jayanti are observed on the day annually. भावुका अमावास्या या दिवशी भावुकादेवी, पांडव,कुंती, व द्रौपदी यांची झाडपाल्याच्या मंडपात पूजा करावी. याच दिवशी शनी जयंती असते म्हणून शनीला तेलाचा अभिषेक करून शनीचे काळया व निळ्या फुलांनी पूजन करावे. शनि जयंती 2020: कब मनाई जाएगी शनि जयंती? जानें तिथि, शुभ मूहूर्त और पूजा विधि इस साल ज्येष्ठ महीने की अमावस्या 22 मई, शुक्रवार को है। ज्येष्ठ महीने की अमावस्या के दिन ही शनि जयंती मनाई जाती है। शनि जयंती पूजा विधि शनि जयंती के दिन सुबह स्नान करने के बाद घर के मंदिर में दीप प्रज्वलीत करें। अगर संभव हो तो इस दिन व्रत करें। शनि देव की पूजा करें। शनि देव के मंत्र का जप करें शनि चालीसा का पाठ करें। शनि जयंती के दिन शनि देव को नीले रंग के पुष्प अर्पित करने चाहिए। शनि देव को प्रसन्न करने के लिए तिल, उड़द, मूंगफली का तेल, काली मिर्च, आचार, लौंग और काला नमक भी चढ़ाया जाता है। शनि जयंती के दिन शनि देव को भोग अवश्य लगाएं शनि जयंती मूहूर्त अमावस्या तिथि आरंभ - (21 मई 2020 रात्रि 9 बजकर 35 मिनट से)अमावस्या तिथि समाप्त - (22 मई 2020 रात्रि 11 बजकर 7 मिनट पर)इस बीच तेल का दान कीजिए। जरूरतमंद लोगों की मदद करें।

Shani Jayanti 2020 falls on 22nd May 2020 This Festival is celebrated as the birth anniversary of the Lord Shani. The son of Lord Surya, Lord Shani also rules the planet Saturn and a day of the week which is Saturday. The festival is also known as Shani Amavasya. With regards to the Hindu calendar, Shani Jayanti falls on the Vaishak Vaidya Chaturdashi Amavasya. One of the temples that the festival of Shani Jayanti is primarily celebrated is at the Shani Shingnapur Shaneshwara Mandir which is located in Maharashtra. Other North Indian temples and devotees also celebrate this festival in large numbers. The festival of Shani Jayanti is home to some of the rituals such as bathing the idol of Lord Shani in the morning with Gangajal, panch-amrut, oil and water. Once the bathing is completed, a haar or necklace is placed made of Navratnas, which depicts the navgrahas. A Shani Shanti puja as well as ‘Telabhishekam’ is performed in order to stay guarded from black magic, a ‘homam’ or ‘yagya’ is performed to avoid the influence of witchcraft where people are advised to wear a horse ring or hang it outside their house. Feed ants with wheat and jaggery. Chanting of Shani stotra and ‘Om Sham Shaneshchraya Namah’ is done to gain the benefit of blessings of Lord Shani.
