लक्ष्मीपूजन (दीपावली) 1 नोवेंबर 2024, शुक्रवारी यावर्षी शक १९४६ मध्ये 31 अक्टोबर 2024 रोजी चतुर्दशी समाप्ति १५:५३ असून त्यानंतर अमावास्या सुरु होत आहे आणि दुसरे दिवशी । नोवेंबर रोजी शुक्रवारी सायंकाळी १८:१७ वाजता अमावास्या समाप्ति आहे.31 अक्टोबर रोजी प्रदोषकाळात अमावास्येची अधिकव्याप्ति असून दुसरे दिवशी । नोवेंबर रोजी शुक्रवारी अमावास्या प्रदोषकाळात अल्पकाळ असताना । नोवेंबर रोजी लक्ष्मीपूजन दिले आहे. धर्मसिंधु, पुरुषार्थ चिंतामणि, तिथिनिर्णय, व्रतपर्व विवेक इ. ग्रंथांमधील वचनांचा विचार करून दोन्ही दिवशी प्रदोष काळात अमावास्येची कमी-अधिक व्याप्ती असता दुसरे दिवशी म्हणजे अमावास्येच्या दिवशी लक्ष्मीपूजन करावे असे आहे. प्रदोषकाळात अमावास्येची कमी व्याप्ती असताना त्या दिवशी सायाह्नकाळी व प्रदोषकाळी अमावास्या मिळत आहे. तसेच अमावास्या आणि प्रतिपदा यांचे युग्म असल्याने प्रतिपदायुक्त अमावास्येच्या दिवशी लक्ष्मीपूजन करावे असे आहे. युग्मास महत्त्व द्यावे असे वचन असल्याने, या सर्व वचनांची संगती लावून आम्ही 1 नोवेंबर 2024 रोजी शुक्रवारी लक्ष्मीपूजन दिलेले आहे. या दिवशी सूर्यास्तानंतर अमावास्या प्रदोष काळात अल्पकाळ असली तरी सायाह्न काळापासून प्रदोषकाळ समाप्ती पर्यंत (म्हणजे सूर्यास्तानंतर सुमारे २ तास २४ मिनिटे या कालावधीत) नेहमीप्रमाणे लक्ष्मीपूजन करता येईल. With pomp and ceremony, Lakshmi is invited into the homes of devotees to partake of the gifts that are part of the puja.pujas are offered to Lakshmi, and to one or more additional deities depending on the region of India; typically Ganesha, Saraswati, and Kubera.Lakshmi symbolises wealth and prosperity, and her blessings are invoked for a good year ahead.
